Vaping Technology: Development of non sub-ohm tanks

The demand for sub-ohm products is exponentially growing by the day, and manufacturers are releasing newer versions of their flagship sub-ohm devices every few months; but because of this, has their development of non sub-ohm devices been halted? Well, it seems that way; at least with the major manufacturers—such as KangerTech and Aspire.

It’s no surprise that both Kangertech and Aspire are putting their resources more towards the sub-ohm category—as with any business, one always moves towards producing products where the demand is the largest—but is this really a valid move in such a premature industry? we don’t believe so.

With more individuals switching from analogs each day, that means there are more people searching for alternatives to gas station e-cigs. But as of now, in order for one to get the latest and greatest from a manufacturer, one has to purchase a sub-ohm tank—but this maybe something they are not ready for just yet.

Manufactures such as KangerTech are attempting to develop future proof devices, which allow for both sub-ohm and non-sub-ohm experiences—this is definitely smart due to it still keeping the new and beginner vapers in mind. But even with this, we still feel there is a need for new, dedicated, non sub-ohm devices; simply because beginners may prefer these options rather than the more complex tanks.

We can’t speak for others, but we would love to see a product refresh on tanks such as the Nautilus, Nautilus Mini, Aerotank, and even a Protank. In fact, I personally started vaping with a Vamo and Protank 2— and I loved every second of it, and I’m sure many others started with a similar setup.

So we urge manufacturers to continue developing updated versions of these devices, as without them, we may lose potential vapors who are interested in making the switch.
